The Deputy Coordinator Jonathan/Sambo Presidential Campaign Organisation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State Hussaini Jallo has said that the Goodluck administration has done well in Kaduna.
Addressing a press conference at the National Union of Journalist (NUJ) secretariat in Kaduna, Jallo praised the president for his developmental strides in Kaduna.
He said president Jonathan has provided 215 Megawatts thermal power plants at the Kudende industrial area in Kaduna 3500 kilometers of transmission lines, 295. Pump stations.
“This will provide employment and improve the economic activities of the area, another project worthy of note is the ongoing works on the 30mw hydro-power component of Gurara mulit-purpose Dam in Kaduna state. This will no doubt enhances economis activities and provide employment to the people of Kaduna State, also 132KVA high voltage transmission line of 140kilometres to Kaduna is being mounted from Gurara to evacuate power to the industrial areas.” Jallo explained.
He emphasised that the administration has made considerable progress in infrastructural development across the country from constructions of new roads, rehabilitation of old ones including the dualization of Jere-Abuja road, Kaduna/Maraba – Pambeguwa – Saminaka – Jos roads.
According to Jallo, Goodluck/Sambo’s giant strides in the transportation sector is visible to all as the “Kaduna-Abuja fast rail line is over 90% completed and narrow gauge from Zaria to Kauran Namoda in Zamfara State has been rehabilitated and lots more all around the country.”
From aviation, Education, industrialisation, Agriculture, Job creation, Health, Security and finance are some of the areas he enumerates where the present administration has done well in the country.
He warned politicians to stop using ethnicity and religion in causing disharmony in the country.
Jallo therefore called on the people to vote massively for the PDP and president Goodluck Jonathan, s re-election in the upcoming election for him to consolidate on his transformation agenda.
