KASTELEA Won’t Clash With Other Agencies – GM Assures

Kaduna State Traffic Law and Environmental Law Enforcement Agency (KASTEALEA), General Manager, Colonel Abdulkadir Ahmed (rtd) on Wednesday said the agency will not have any clash of interest with other law enforcement agencies rather will collaborate to ensure effectiveness.
KASTELEA GM stated this during a parley with journalists in preparation to kick off of the agency’s operation in Kaduna.
He also announced that the agency is set to commenced full operation by the end the Month.
According to him, all arrangement have been completed for the newly recruited personnels of the agency to be posted to area of duties.
The General Manager further assured residents of the state that there would be no clashed of duties between his agency and other security personnels such as police, Civil Defence, Federal Road Safety Commission operating in the state.
“We intend to start full operation at the end of this month. Our agency’s mission is to ensure environmental safety for the public and We are only going to do our job without any clash of duties with other agencies. We can assured them that there would be no clashed of duties or functions.
” We don’t intend to work in isolation but as partners with other agencies such as police, Civil Defence, FRSC and the media so as to achieve our goal of making Kaduna State a model not only in the country but internationally,” he said.
On the appointment letters, The GM explained that the recruited staff will also be issued with their appointment letters as soon as the commence work.
” We have the letters ready since May 1st but we cannot not issue it to them without them knowing where to go and work. We are organizing the whole thing in such away that we will distribute it to them in an organize manners,” he said.
He also urged residents to cooperate and be law abiding especially on the road.
