Edo APC Secretary Resigns

The Edo State Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Osaro Idah, has resigned from his position.

Idah’s action followed his appointment as Special Adviser on Political and Community Matters to Governor Godwin Obaseki.

He stepped down at an enlarged meeting of the party executives.

Idah was replaced with Engr. Lawrence Okah, a chieftain of the party from Ward nine in Oredo local government area of the state.

The state Chairman of the party, Anselm Ojezua, said Okah would serve as Secretary till the next party’s congresses.

Ojezua described Okah as trusted party leader and a round peg in a round hole.

Okah said he would use his experience to promote the party.
