Buhari’s Cabinet: Security Agencies Screens Amaechi,
Fashola, Danjuma, 42 Others

Governors Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers
State,Babatunde Fashola(Lagos) and
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso(Kano) are
among the 45 names already
forwarded to security agencies for
screening as a prelude to their
nomination as members of General
Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.Though
Kwankwaso is a senator elect,it was
learnt that Buhari wants him as one of
his ministers.
Aside from the above named
governors, other nominees
undergoing checks by security
agencies include Prince Olagunsoye
Oyinlola ,former Osun State governor
and former PDP National Secretary
;Chief Bode Mustapha ,former PDP
National Auditor,and APC stalwart
from Ogun; Engineer Segun Oni. –
former Ekiti State governor and APC
Deputy National Chairman (South/
west); Dr Kayode Fayemi,immediate
past gov of Ekiti State;Dr Abba Ruma ,
former Minister for Agric and Water
Resources and Chief Kanu Agabi
,former Minister of Justice
Other names on the list include Mr
Donald Duke ;former Cross River state
governor;Mrs Yinka Folashade Oredola
,a pharmacist from Ondo state;Mr
Rotimi Akeredolu , former
Gubernatorial candidate of ACN, (one
of the legacy parties of APC) in Ondo
state;Engineer Funsho Kupolokun;Ms
Bisola Adegbenro from Ogun
State;Isaiah Danjuma, son of Gen. TY
Danjuma from Taraba State;Dele
Momodu;Kehinde Lawanson, a former
ED of First Bank and Chief Bayo Ojo,
SAN , former Minister of Justice.
It was learnt that their names have
been forwarded to the Department of
State, DSS, Directorate of Military
Intelligence(DMI) and the National
Intelligence Agency(NIA) for security
checks.
Once cleared by the security, these
men will form the core of Buhari’s
cabinet, it was learnt.
