Sokapu Youth President Dismisses his Impeachment Claims
The SOKAPU Youth National President, Nasiru Jagaba has refuted claims of his alleged impeachment letter currently in circulation, saying it was a sponsored activity that lack constitutional merit.
The President who stated this on Monday in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Kaduna said, “the Union has code of conduct guiding all the activities of the Union. Whoever has grievances should follow the right Chanel.
“I call on the youth of Southern Kaduna to disregard this jamboree arrangement, those in view did not mean well for the growth and development of our region,” The statement reiterated.
According to him,”The Union is strong and it is a calculated attempt to undermine the SOKAPU body, the coup is already unsuccessful.
He noted that,” The purported letter in circulation of my impeachment by some disgruntled elements who do not mean well for the peace and progress of Southern Kaduna people.
He maintained that,” I remain the democratically elected Coordinator of the Youth Wing of SOKAPU! Any person(s) aggrieved on any issue concerning the activities of the Union leadership should follow the existing constitutional provisions.
“I call on all our youths and well meaning individuals/ groups to disregard that evil information and remain calm and law abiding.” The statement said.
While Commenting in a telephone interview with our reporter, the National President of the apex body Barrister Solomon Musa disclosed that,” I just got the information now, but I will summoned my exco for an emergency meeting to investigate the issue and respond appropriately. We’ll not take it lightly.” He concluded.
