Shehu ABG Mourns Nafi’u Baba Ahmed

Kaduna State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Usman Shehu Bawa, popularly known as Shehu ABG, has described the death of the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Malam Nafi’u Baba Ahmed, as a great loss to Nigeria.
Shehu ABG, in a condolence message signed by his spokesperson, Yusuf Idris, said the deceased devoted his life to the service of Islam and humanity.
He described Nafi’u Baba Ahmed as a man of uprightness, wisdom and dedication, whose contributions to the Islamic faith and society would remain indelible.
According to him, Nigeria has lost “one of her great minds and patriots,” while the Islamic community has lost a committed servant and voice of wisdom.
Shehu ABG extended his condolences to the deceased’s family, praying Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.
He also prayed for Allah to grant the immediate family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
