Senator Shehu Sani loses mother at 75
Fatima Abubakar Sani, mother of Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial zone has died at the age of 75, the family has confirmed.
Mrs. Sani, a descendant of the royal family of the famous Borno Kingdom, died at about 4pm Saturday at the Garden City Hospital, Kaduna, after a protracted illness.
She is survived by five children (including Senator Shehu Sani) and 20 grand children.
She was interred shortly after her death Saturday, in line with Islamic burial rites.
In early condolences, Deputy Senate Leader, Bala Ibn Na’Allah, prayed Allah to grant her eternal rest and the family, as well as the people of Kaduna State, the fortitude to bear the loss.
