Going after the woman, the criminal stabbed her before allegedly raping her.

A resident, Bode, who hinted on the incident, said Mrs. Kazeem was stabbed near her face, lamenting that people were relocating from the community because of the attacks.
He said: “People are leaving the community because there is no solution in sight to these attacks. Several women have been raped and killed. Girls are molested by these rapists and yet, nothing is done.
“Some of us who do not have alternative residence are living in fear in this place. Imagine what he did to an entire family! The woman died on the spot. Her husband and children are battling for their lives in the hospital. They cannot even talk now. They are in coma. There’s blood everywhere in their home. Then, he didn’t feel bad and instead went to the next house and attacked a couple.
“We have been arresting some of their members. It is a gang of senseless and heartless people.”
Another resident who refused to be named said some persons were using the gang members to achieve their evil desires.
He urged Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to take steps to ensure that the gang members and their sponsors were exposed and brought to justice.
