Polio Eradication: JAP Charges Parents to Present Their  Wards for Vaccination‎

As Nigeria prepares to be declared polio free by 2017, parents and caregivers has been charged to ensure they make their children available for vaccination as Kaduna State  commence another phase of polio immunisations.

Lawal Dogara,  Kaduna State Coordinator, Journalists Against Polio (JAP) said this ‎in a statement made available to newsmen. 

He advised that vaccination would enable the children grow healthier as such parents should try and ensre they allow immunisation officers attend to their wards.‎

He explained ‎that during the exercise a lots of intervention will be provide such as health camps especially at the high risk areas.

‎Dogara further said the Kaduna state primary health care agency had made adequate arrangement for the smooth conduct of the exercise.

He commended the development partners and other stake holders for their efforts towards the eradication of polio in the state and nation at large.‎‎

He also added ‎that the vaccination has started since on Friday, 16th October and would last upto thursday 22nd October, 2015‎
