Nigeria at 59: EFCC Call for Inter Agency Collaboration Against Graft

Ibrahim Magu the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has called for inter agency collaboration to get rid of corruption in all ramification.

He gave the charge on Saturday, September 28, 2019, during an inter agency novelty football match between EFCC Kaduna Zonal Office team and Team Kaduna State Traffic and Environmental Enforcement Agency, KASTELEA to commomorate Nigeria’s 59th Independence celebration, strengthen existing collaboration in the fight against corruption and Sensitize the public in obeying traffic regulations.

The match which took place at the Kaduna Township Stadium was first or its kind among government agencies.

Magu who was represented by Mailafia Yakubu, Zonal Head, Kaduna Zonal Office of the EFCC said the war against graft was not one that should be left to the EFCC alone, but a collective one by all Nigerians.

In his response the General Manager / CEO, KASTELEA, Col. A.Z. Ahmed Rtd, expressed gratitude to the Commission for choosing his agency as one of it’s collaborators.
