KADINVEST 2016: British High Commissioners Endorses Kaduna As Global Business Hub
Kaduna Economic Investment Summit kicks off today, Wednesday 6th April, with the theme ‘Let’s Move Kaduna Into The Global Economy’…..A World Of Opportunities.
The summit which had in attendance the governors of Kebbi and Bauchi states governors and the British high commissioner to Nigeria alongside Chief executives of Multinational Organizations and Entrepreneurs of global repute.
While the governor of Bauchi state, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, and Governor of Kebbi state Senator Atiku Bagudu, commended El-Rufai for the ground breaking move in their speeches; while the British high commissioner, Paul Arkwright, endorsed Kaduna state as a global business destination.
Guests At KadInvest 2016Paul Arkwright, in His speech said in just over 6 months that he has been in Nigeria he has visited Kaduna State three times and he is confident that the policies and programmes of El-Rufai gives him confidence that Kaduna is a place where people can confidently do business.
The representative of Dangote group in his keynote address indicated that Dangote group was going to invest the sum of 10 million dollars in the agro-allied sector in the state.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai in his foreword stated that the Kaduna state reflects the desire to restore the state to its past glory through a planned, orderly and coherent development plan.
