The Family Health Advocates in Nigeria Initiative (FHANI) has lauded Governor Uba Sani over the completion of the State Primary Health Care Board (SPHCB) building, describing it as a decisive step toward fixing gaps in the health system.
In a statement on Tuesday signed byitsSecretary, BenjaminMaigari, FHANI said the new facility positions Kaduna State to deliver more coordinated, accountable, and efficient primary health care services, particularly for women and children.
The group noted that beyond bricks and mortar, the SPHCB building represents a shift toward stronger governance and smarter health planning, with improved capacity for policy execution and data-driven decision-making.

“This is the kind of investment that drives real change,” the statement said, adding that a functional administrative hub will sharpen oversight, strengthen service delivery, and improve responsiveness to citizens’ health needs.
FHANI expressed optimism that the development will translate into better maternal and child health outcomes, expanded access to family planning, and stronger primary care services across communities.
While applauding the milestone, the group urged the state government to match infrastructure with sustained funding, skilled personnel, and proper maintenance to maximize impact.
FHANI reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the Kaduna State Government to push for reforms and interventions that improve health outcomes statewide.
