FAAN Shuts  Down Benin Airport

The Federal Airports Authority Nigeria (FAAN) has announced that the Benin airport would be shut down to operations from Saturday, June 20 to Friday, July 10, to allow for the rehabilitation of the runway.

It has consequently directed that all flights operating on that route be diverted to alternative route.

In the interim, the affected airlines and passengers are to use the Asaba airport and the Osubi airstrip in Warri as alternates to the Benin Airport.
