El-Rufai Campaign Media DG Petitioned Over N560m

Director General (DG) media of El-Rufai campaign organization Ashiru Zuntu has been petition by one Abdulsalam Al-Amin over N560,000 Tv jingles.

 The petitioner, who is a biological son of late Commissioner of Police CP Mohammed Al-Amin, addressed his petition to the Executive Chairman National Human Rights Commission.

 The petition made available to Newsweb Express  is Titled “Complaints of Breach of Trust against DG Media El-Rufai Campaign Organization”.
Signed by Abdulsalam Al-Amin, the petitioner alleged that El-Rufai campaign DG media contracted him to produce four units of TV jingles at the cost of N140,000 each.

Abdulsalam further stated that the DG campaign collected the produced jingles and promised to pay the money totaling N560,000 the following day.
 He further stated that Zuntu wrote an undertaken to the effect but failed to fulfill his promise.

 According to the petitioner, rather than paying the N560,000, the DG only sent the sum of N70,000 through Chairman of Liberty Radio where the petitioner was working.

“I made several correspondences to the campaign office in various petitions but rather than getting my payment I incurred many tribulations in the process”, he stated.

The petitioner claimed  to have lost his job with liberty radio as a result of the matter and incurred financial lost and was dragged to Federal High Court by the El-Rufai campaign DG for defamation of character demanding for N10m as damage.

The matter has been dragged on for over four months over alleged absenteeism on the part of the DG and his representative counsel in the court.
