The EgyptAir hijacker is in the custody of authorities in Cyprus, said Homer Mavrommatis, director of the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Crisis Management Center.
Video shows people leaving the EgyptAir plane that was hijacked and forced to land at Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus on Tuesday. One person was seen exiting a plane window.
It’s unclear who the people were, and it’s also uncertain whether the situation has come to an end.
