Dangerous Driving: Police Arraigns Road Safety Official

The Kaduna State Police Command is to arraign an officer of Federal Road Safety Corp, (FRSC), Kaduna State Command, Inspector Marshall Esther Abaje, for dangerous driving.

According to Barrister Timothy Kyuga who is the Counsel to the victim, Mr. Moses Allahmagani, said investigation has been concluded, while the First Police Report, (FPR), is ready and the case assigned to State High Court 4.
A source from the police revealed that letter of invitation has been sent to the FRSC to present her before the Motor Traffic Division, (MTD), Gabasawa.

The suspect is supposed to have reported at the Division, however as at the time of filing in this report, the suspect, Esther Abaje is yet to report at the police and the FRSC has not replied to the letter.
It will be recalled that on December 25, 2018 Mr. Moses Allahmagani was driving along Waff Road, suddenly Inspector Marshall Abaje drove out of Sokoto Road bumped into his vehicle causing damages.
The suspect immediately invited her colleagues who towed the victim’s vehicle to and impounded it in their premises demanding N150,000 for repairs.
Not satisfied by this demand, the police were invited via a petition by Moses Allahmagani and a team of police was directed to conduct investigation, it resolved to arraigned the suspect Esther Abaje in court for dangerous driving.
Also speaking the victimed alledged that InspectorMarshall Esther Abaje had no driving license and vehicle papers and that she repaired her vehicle and continued using it while his own was impounded.

The victim also said ” I lost my job in the process as I couldn’t do my job effectively as a result of injuries and had to let go the job “
