Biafra: Group Cautions Danfulani, Senator Hunkuyi
A pro-democracy group Kaduna Revival Forum (KRF) has cautioned Dr. John Danfulani and “his mentor, Senator Suleman Hunkuyi” to stop their antics of campaigning in favour of divisive Biafran elements and uphold Nigeria’s peace and unity.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Abubakar Kagarko, the group expressed disappointment with Senator Hunkuyi’s tacit support for the ” highly-divisive Biafran campaign by allowing his “political godson, Dr. John Danfulani to align forces with Biafran element Nnamdi Kanu and taking solidarity photographs that have now gone viral”.
They advised the Senator “not to squander his political goodwill by joining forces with political destabilization agents, who are now overheating the polity”.
The statement however, expressed hope that close associates of the Senator would further advise him to “shun the infantile political style of identifying with charlatans like Nnamdi Kanu”, saying it would bring forth no political capital.
The group noted that it met in Kaduna on Friday to take a stand on the matter because it held Senator Hunkuyi in high esteem as a political figure from the state and would not want him to commit political suicide by derailing from the path of honour and democratic principles.
