Former Governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, has ask Governor Nasil El-Rufa to tell Nigerians the truth over the N90billion cash and houses assets allegedly owned by him so it can be laid to rest‎.

He stated this in house while speaking to journalists.‎ According to him, as a public servant official, it is expected that the governor should be able to tell indegenes of the state the truth about himself and about the public affairs under his control, adding that the governor has to do something fast about those that have stolen public resources other than abstract.

Alhaji Balarabe musa suggested that Malam El-Rufai should be more focused on how to generate employment, revenue and improve agriculture, which he reffered to as three key factors to drive vibrant economy.

According to him, “There are thieves in Kaduna state, what is he going to do about it. People who have stolen government property.

“He himself has declared his asset allegedly to be N90bn and houses in Kaduna and other places numbering up to 40. It was promised on his behalf that he would declare his asset publicly. But when people got information that he secretly declare the alleged amount, he denied it.

“Then let him go and declare it publicly. He made declaration in written to Code of Conduct Bureau. Let him release the copy of declaration he made to the bureau to the press and if he doesn’t want to release it to the press for any reason, let him say no I’m not worth N90b in cash and 40 houses. This is what I’m worth. If you say what people are saying is not true, then tell us the truth.

“As a public servant officer, you are expected to tell the truth about yourself and about the public affairs under your control. That has not been done. Can a person who is claiming to fight corruption succeed when you have so much things to hide?, he asked.‎
