Youth Coalition passes vote of confidence on Gov Yero

A coalition of Youth Group across the 23 local Government areas of Kaduna state have passed a vote of confidence on Kaduna state Governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero.
Addressing Press Conference on Monday at the premises of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, Kaduna State chapter, the Coordinator of the Coalition, Comrade Hadwyah Samuel John who said Governor Yero has performed credibly well in every sector of the state economy, according to him, the governor should be rewarded with another tenure.
Hardwyah added that contrary to the rumour peddled around that Governor Yero abandoned projects initiated by his Predecessor, Late Patrick Yakowa, the Group have taken time to go round and found out that out of the 31 Roads projects initiated by Yakowa, Governor Yero has completed 12 to 100 percent completion while work is at different degree of completion on the rest.
The youth coalition who claimed to have about 80 percent of the youth in the state in their movement boasted that larger percentage of youth in the state support the candidature of Governor Yero because of his outstanding performance.
“In terms of youth employment, governor Yero in his bid to equip the education sector, employed teachers and other staff in all the state own education institutions from tertiary to secondary level and this has help in reducing youth unemployment in the state.
” The governor has paid NECO examination fees for Kaduna state students, return the oversea scholarship scheme that was abandoned since the era of the first executive governor of the state, Alhaji Balarabe Musa.
The group however, condemned the manipulation of the youth by unscrupulous politicians using them to destabilise the peace of the country. “We condemned the act of instigating youth to attack leaders and their convoy by politicians, this is an act of demonizing the youth and setting them against their leaders.
