US Based NGO to engage 5m unemployed Nigerians

United State of America-based non governmental organisation, Oneness Foundations, said it is set to create five million jobs for the unemployed Nigerians in no distant time.
Founder of the foundation, Mrs. Tabitha Price, who disclosed this in an interview with newsmen after briefing the forum of Secretary to the Northern States government yesterday in kaduna, added that the people are to be engaged in agricultural sector of the economy.
She said Nigeria was the largest producer of cassava with 54, 000,000 tonnes of the crop in 2013 but Thailand with 30,000,000 was the world largest exporter of dried cassava, hence the need for the intervention.
According to her, there are about 500 finished products that could be produced from cassava apart from stable food for the populace, saying if the government collaborates with the foundation, the cassava products may be alternative to the oil madness as seen in the country today.
Mrs. Tabitha further added that Foundation was also planning to establish the foster care program in Nigeria which will provides foster parenting, skill acquisition for destitute, eradication of street begging creation of foster homes across all the local government in the Country.
“The goal of the Oneness Foundations is to establish in Nigeria foster care program, which is now worldwide. Nigeria stands to benefits in the areas of housing infrastructures care for about 17.5 million orphans and vulnerable children.
“we believe that the implementation of the program in Nigeria on the creation of employment will have a cumulative advantage of reducing crime overtime as we intend to create over 5 million jobs by our 1st year of operation.” She said
