UPDATE: Saraki unveils ministerial nominees
Senate President Bukola Saraki on Tuesday morning finally unveiled the ministerial list to other members of the senate.
The 21 member list consist basically of the names already speculated and reported in the media.
President Muhammadu Buhari last Thursday forwarded the list which he said was the first batch of ministers to the senate for confirmation as ministers.
The nominees include former governor of Rivers state Rotimi Amaechi, former governor of Abia state Dr Ogbonaya Onu, Group Managing Director of NNPC, Kachikwu Ibe, former legal adviser to the defunct Congress of Progressive Change (CPC), Abubakar Malami SAN and ex-chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (Rtd).
Also announced is the Taraba state All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the 2015 elections Aisha Alhassan, APC national publicity secretary Lai Mohammed, former governor of Lagos state Babatunde Fashola and former governorship candidate of CPC in Oyo state, Adebayo Shitu.
Former governor of Anambra state, Senator Chris Ngige, former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Audu Ogbeh, Special Adviser to UN Secretary General on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Amina Ibrahim, former governor of Ekiti state Kayode Fayemi, former deputy governor of Niger state Musa Ibeto are on the list.
Also on the ministerial list are Senator Udo Udoma, formerly of the PDP, Senator Hadi Sirika who represented Katsina central in the last assembly and Engr. Suleiman Adamu. Others are Mrs. Kemi Andeosun, Solomon Dalong and Dr. Osagie
