Unknown Gangs Robs Kaduna Contractor, IBTC Bank Customer of N350,000

A Kaduna Contractor and customer of Stanbic IBTC Bank, located at United Trading Company (UTC) premises at Ali Akilu Road Kaduna has been robbed of three hundred and fifty thousand naira (350,000) immediately after his transaction from the bank.
Narrating his ordeal to journalists one hour after the incident, the victim, Alh. Mohammed Nabir Umar said the incident happened less than one hour after he left the bank where the money was withdrew.
He said the incident occurred at the Shehu Gankiwa Medical Center Kaduna Polytechnic premises where his Mercedes C’ Class was burgled by unknown person.
Umar said he was on his way to deliver the cash to the owners but later branch the polytechnic Medical center where a friend called him to come and sign a document around 1130 am.
The victim who told journalists that he suspected the burglar trailed him from the bank premises or within the school also said that the robber break up the driver side scream of his car, parked near the security, and stole the money that did belong to somebody.
” I called the person yesterday when he was in Abuja to tell him if I can transfer the money through bank but he told me he will be coming to kaduna today, I was go on GC there the give the money when I was call to come and sign some documents in Center where we are doing some project.”, he said.
Contacted for confirmation, the bank officials declined comment on ground that they have no mandate to speak to journalists. Our reporter however noted even though there were securities, the bank is operating in a combine promises hosting other organizations such as Eagle Home & Interior, Aeronate Travels and Resorts ltd, among others, making the premises a bit congested.
Also contacted, Senior Executive Officer, Information and Protocol, Kaduna polytechnic Godwin Ayegba said the robbers must have been on trail of the victim from the bank adding that their security men have been active and alerting to their job.
