Telecommunication Service Outfit In Court For Allegedly Owing Over N72m

A telecommunication service outfit, Linksoft Communication Systems Limited has been dragged to court by Major Oil Limited for allegedly owing the later the sum of N72,148,752 being the balance of sums of money arising from the supply of Diesel (AGO) to the company from April to June 2014 to date.
The claimant had in mid 2014 made an emotional and passionate appeal through its earlier counsel Femi Falana Chambers to the telecommunication service outfit demanding the settlement of the said debt.
This according to the claimant was done in good faith in order to avert the issue getting to the public domain. This noble gesture the claimant said was ignored through the defendant counsel who on their instructions played for time.
Sequel to that, the claimant (Major Oil limited) had in a write of summon issued by Dr. Reuben O. Atobo of R.O Atabo and Co filed a case against Linksoft Communications System Limited in the High Court of Justice of Lagos State judicial division with suit No. LD/8624/14.
The defendant however opted for arbitration in line with their agreement before invoking the jurisdiction of the court to adjudicate over their dispute.
The case at arbitration comes up between the 23rd-28th of this month for hearing.
