Shehu Wamban tops Kebbi Legislative Scorecard in Kebbi on Quality Representation

Nigerian Youth Vanguard for Quality Representation Kebbi State Branch has rated Hon Shehu Wamban Koko representing Maiyama / Koko Besse Federal Constituency in the National Assembly as the Most Outstanding Legislator for the year 2020.
This rating came after an assessment of the spending of constituency project money released to the legislators across the country.
In a statement issued and signed by it’s Publicity Secretary, Rilwan A Abdullah stated that Hon Wamban scored 89% to become the BEST PERFORMING ELECTED OFFICIAL from Kebbi State under the current political dispensation.
According to the statement, criteria used in the selection process include regular contributions on the floor of the Chamber, Outstanding Support to Constituency, Youth Empowerment and good Constituency relationship among others.
Similarly, Hon Kabir Tukura from Sakaba, Fakai, Danko Wasagu and Zuru Federal Constituency came second with 80% score recognizing his performance in entrepreneurship development, youth empowerment and quality representation.
Furthermore, the Statement added that Hon Faruk Aliyu Nassarawa , member representing Jega State Assembly Constituency and House leader clinched first position in the State Assembly ratings with 80%. Hassan Umar Namarocco trailed in second position with 77% while Umar Danfari from Suru Constituency came 3rd with 70%
In the Local Government’s category, Chairman of Kalgo Local Government Council Shamsu Faruk Kalgo was rated as best in youth empowerment and educational sector initiatives while Barrister Shehu Marshal of Jega LGA became second best with outstanding performance in grassroots development.
National leader of the Organization Ambassador Clement H. Umeoyo congratulates the winners and urged them to continue with the laudable projects to ensure accelerated level of development in their respective Constituencies, particularly at this critical period of Covid-19 and economic meltdown.
To this end the statement urged all elected officials in Kebbi State to redouble their efforts in promoting Good Governance and Patriotic Service Delivery in order to justify their elections.
