PDP Appoints Senator Jibrin As Acting BoT Chairman
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the appointment of Senator Walid Jibrin as its acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT).
The PDP made the decision on Wednesday rising from the 51st meeting of the board in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The acting BoT Chairman, in a communique appealed to members of the party to renew their loyalty to the PDP.
Senator Jibrin also urged them to support the re-building efforts of leaders of the party in order to re-position the PDP ahead of the next general elections.
The Board of Trustees also appealed to the Federal Government to respect the rule of law in its fight against corruption.
