Oshiomhole Tax Rent, Not Wealthn Says APC Guber Aspirant

An Aspirant for the All Progressives Congress Ticket for Edo State Governorship Election coming up in Septembern Arch.Austine Ilenre Emuan has take a swipe at the tax system of the administration of the State Governor Adams Oshiomhole, accusing him of taxing rent instead of wealth.
Emuan who made the accusation while speaking to newsmen at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja after picking his expression of Interest and Nomination on Thursday.
The Aspirant while speaking on hw he is going to raise more funds to augment the falling Federal Government allocation, he said “Edo State they want to pay tax, is not as if they don’t want to pay tax, but they are rebelling against paying tax today because of the way it is at the moment we are taxing rent, we want to be able to tax wealth, this is the reason why we are going to create a lot of wealth.
Emuan who said he would tackle the state problem base on three major developmental philosophies; that include; Capillary Democracy, Bi-culturalism, and Moral Economy, and his vision for the state are build on these in order to ensure Edo becomes the next destination for investment.
He lamented the present system that breed terrorism and other social vices because of the huge inequality that existed among the peoples, which said his theory of moral economy is going to addressed. He stressed that the Capillary Democracy would take power to the people while the concept f bi-culturalism is utilising culture to create wealth in the society.
He explained that his administration will revive the moribund state industries through bail-out as well as provide jobs to the teeming unemployed youth of Edo state.
