Only Empowerment Will Stop Street Begging – Shehu Sani

Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial zone, Comrade Shehu Sani, at the weekend, said the only way to stop street begging in the State, is to empower the physically Challenged Persons and the Vulnerable People by giving them capital to establish business, and to rehabilitate them to be self reliance in the society.
The Senator said this when he visited the Camp of Vulnerable and Physically Challenged, located in Kano Road, Kaduna North Local Government Area to celebrate Sallah festival with them.
Senator Shehu Sani urged their leaders to organise themselves and and identify the needs of their people and bring to him, so he will provide all the necessary things they need for them.
The Senator also criticised the action of the state governor Malam. Nasir El-rufai, in his intention to flush out the beggars in the state, without providing them with any alternative that can give them a better lives.
In their separate remarks, leaders of the physically Challenged Persons in the state, Malam Ahmadu Haruna, and Malam Muhammad Tukur, thanks the Senator for the visit.
The promised Senator Sani, that they will stop street begging if they empowered financially to start up their business to they can fend for their families.
