NSCDC rescues 9-yr old boy chained at Celestial Church
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC has announced the rescue of a nine-year old boy who had been chained for several weeks at the Celestial Church of Christ (Key of Joy Parish), Ajiwo, Ogun state.
Spokesman of the NSCDC, Emmanuel Okeh in a brief statement Saturday morning in Abuja said Taiwo Korede was rescued at about 10:30am on Friday.
The case, he said had since been transferred to relevant authorities for further investigation and necessary action.
