The‎ group is calling on Northerners to stop supply of food items to South-South for thirty days (30) to protest against the action of Niger Delta Militants who are blowing up pipelines almost on a daily basis in order to show them that every part of the country has resources.

‎Coordinator, of the group, Hon. Sani Bello Maikusa, a former Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs to Governor Ahmed Makarfi said this at the weekend in Kaduna during a public lecture to mark the one year Anniversary of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Sani Bello, said the north is now ready to show the South-South that no particular region of this country has a monopoly of wealth or resources and that the Northern part of the country are going to boycott and cutoff food supply to the South in protest of the sabotage to the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to him, “the Niger-Delta Militants has changed their name to Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) their mission and purpose is to cripple the Nigerian economy. Therefore, what we understand about the Niger Delta Avengers or pipeline sabotage is nothing but “Haram” agent.

“We are therefore calling for a Total Boycott of the South-South region for a period of 30 days starting from 1st to 30th July 2016. All businesspersons, goods services, Agricultural suppliers, suppliers of Cows, Donkeys and Dogs should be stop to show our anxiety.

“We can recall that about five billion naira was spent on the Amnesty programme for this region in the last six years. And also about 621 billion naira was been allocated to the Niger-Delta Development Commission, what are they looking for”? he said.

Scoring President Muhammadu Buhari’s one year in office, he said, Mr. President has done well especially in terms of Security, Fighting Corruption, saving money through Treasury Single Account (TSA)as he stated that through this TSA the President has saved for the country N2.0 trillion in just one year.

Hon. Bello revealed that before in Nigeria, the corrupt people are the one been given recognitions “the more corrupt you are, the more recognition, commendation tittles and many other things you received. Therefore, this is what President Buhari is trying to avoid at all course.

On Security, he noted that the President  has done well by motivating Nigerian Army to fight Boko-Haram in the north east, despite the challenges his administration is facing from agitation to pipeline vandalism.

He therefore, call for support of all and sundry to make Buhari administration a success because if it good on his side it will be good for everyone.‎‎
