No Body Could Have Stopped the Buhari Tsunami – PDP BoT Secretary

The Board of trustee Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Walid Jibrin, has declared that is was impossible for anybody to have stopped what he termed the “Buhari Tsunami”.
Walid in a statement made available to Journalists in Kaduna, said ” Nobody could have stopped the Buhari Tsunami but God. The tsunami came with such a terrific strength that made some contestants under All Progressive Congress (APC) to various positions hide under it to win their elections especially in the Northern Region”.
Reacting to an allegation that top members of the PDP in Nasarawa state collected gratification of large sum of money from governor Tanko Almakura in order to support him, He warned the Nasarawa PDP to stop peddling falsehood and start developing strategies for the party to bounce back and win all elections in 2019.
Walid explained that his resolve to congratulate Gen. Buhari and governor Almakura was born out of the show of statesmanship and patriotism displayed by the leader of the party President Goodluck Jonathan.
“Similarly the President of the senate, Senator David Mark not only congratulated general Buhari but paid him a courtesy call. Exhibiting the same statesmanship, our vice president congratulated the governor-elect of Kaduna state Elrufai and the PDP governors that lost election had been congratulated their successors.” He said.
He however advised the party to always accept the will of God as power comes from him.
