Nigerian woman emerge presidential candidate in Spain
With several endorsements pouring in, Nigerian born Spanish lawyer, Helen Mukoro, has emerged the presidential candidate of an opposition party for the forthcoming election in Spain. Mukoro traveled to Spain in 1992 and over the years gained prominence in Spanish politics contesting for the Mayor of Denia in May this year. She however lost the elections. She will be running for presidency on the platform of Union De Todos, a party she founded earlier this year
Highly educated Helen holds a Law degree from the Spanish National University Alicante, she also holds a Master degree in Criminology and Masters degree in Social Education. She also holds a post graduate certificate in Tax and Labor Management, a post graduate certificate in Forensic Psychology, and a post graduate certificate in Immigration and Domestic Violence. Helen is believed to be following the trail of the United States President, Barack Obama, who was the first African-American to win the presidency. On whether her dream of becoming the first Spanish immigrant president will materialize is a matter of time.
