NB Plc Presents COVID-19 PPEs to Kaduna Government, Few Days After Donating N20m, Others
As part of it’s continued support to the Kaduna State Government on the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, the Nigerian Breweries Plc, has donated large quantities of Personal Protective Equipments, in Addition to N20m, Vehicle, Drinks Earlier Donated.
Receiving the items on behalf of the state government the Permanent Secretary, General Services, Alhaji Muhammed Bashiru Umar, commended the company for always standing out in terms of its Corporate Social Responsibility and other interventions.
The items includes, 30 sets of Medical Gowns, 1500 pieces of Face Masks and high number of hand sanitizers of various sizes.
Speaking during the presentation, the Brewery Manager in Kaduna, Mr Abbey Ajayi, who was represented by the Kakuri Engineering Manager, Mr. James Bege, said the company will continue to extend its hands of fellowship to Kaduna state until the war against COVID-19 is won.
Also speaking, the Corporate Affairs Manager, North, Mr. Danjuma John-Ekele commended Governor Nasir Ahmed El-rufai for doing so much for the state, calling on well meaning individuals and corporate bodies to identify with the government by way of donating sensitive items to ease the burden of Governance at this period of the Corona Virus Pandemic.
“For us at Nigerian Breweries Plc, we will continue to demonstrate that support in the fight against COVID-19.” He added.
Kaduna State Government had in the month of April, applauded the Breweries for supporting the fight against COVID-19 by donating the sum of 20 million Naira, a service vehicle with driver attached and assorted drinks.
