Living Without my Wife Has Been Traumatic, Says Ex NBA President, JB Daudu

Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Joseph B. Daudu SAN has disclosed that living without his wife one year after her demise has been very traumatic for him.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria stated this in Kaduna at the during One Year Memorial Mass for his late wife, Barrister (Mrs.) Ranti Bosede Daudu, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Barnawa Kaduna.

He however said that the family has consoled by the fact that, late wife lived a very good life.

‎Barr. Ranti Abosed Daudu died 6th July 2017 after a brief illness and was survived by six children. Until her death, she was the founder and Executive Director, ACCIF a Non Governmental Organization, passionate about the needs of the specially challenged persons and the underprivileged in the society, especially children.

In an interview with journalists shortly after the mass, her husband, the Senior Advocate said, “living without my wife has been very traumatic, but living and dieing are facts of life and we know that we won’t live forever. The important thing is that, she lived a very good life, and we are full of prayers for her.
“We see her passing away in the positive, that she has gone to a place to rest from the problems of this world. And so, all we do is to continue to pray for her and souls of the departed and continue with the good thing that she has begun.

“As for her charity programme, we have ensured that, there is nothing that is being done before that is not been done now. In that aspect, the only thing that we missed is her physical presence. But we are trying as humanly possible to continue to do the things that she cherished, so that she can be happy wherever she is.” Daudu SAN said.

In his memorial love tribute to his wife, titled, ‘Just like yesterday’ Daudu said, “We can’t say goodbye because are still in our hearts. The love that is deep within us will teach you from the stars. You’ll feel it and it will heal the scars.”
On his part, her son and the new Chief Executive Officer of All Children Charity International Foundation (ACCIF), Barrister Paul B. Daudu Barrister noted that, though it has not been easy living without their mother, but the family has accepted that her demise was God’s will, saying, “today we remember what a wonderful person you were and the legacy you left behind. I celebrate you today because you touched lives.”

Speaking on the legacies of his late mother’s charity work, Barrister Paul, said, this year alone, ACCIF in implementing TY Danjuma Foundation project that is already returning 120 out of school girls in Makarfi local government area of Kaduna State back to school with all expenses paid and all school materials provided.
“The foundation through it’s leadership has ensured that the vision and mission statement of the foundation is continually realized, at present, the foundation is implementing a GIRL CHILD EDUCATION PROJECT under the TY DANJUMA FOUNDATION 2018 Project for the enrolment, retention and completion of Secondary School Education for well over 120 girls that cut across three communities of Makarfi LGA in Kaduna State.

“For the founder’s pet project of providing qualitative education for specially needs child in Kaduna State has continued to yield results as one of the best transformation centre for children with Autism, Cerebal Palsy, Down syndrome and the likes.

“ACCIF has continued to encourage, engage, mentor support and monitor projects for donors with similar objectives.”
