KASTELEA Begins Total Implementation of Traffic Rules

Kaduna State Traffic and Environmental Law Enforcement Agency (KASTELEA), said as part of its efforts and mandate in enforcing traffic and environmental laws in Kaduna state, the agency shall immediately commence ticketing and fining of violators.
The agency therefore put the public especially motorists on alert to avoid ‘ticketing and fining.
The agency in a statement signed by the General Manager , Col Zakari Ahmed (Rtd) enumerated the following offences which the motorists should be cautions of as follows:
“Driving without relevant particulars/ documents, Use of mobile phones while driving, Driving without seat belts, Wrongful parking, Disobeying traffic lights, signs and markings.
“Others are: overloading of vehicles, both human and goods, Resisting arrest, Noise which constitute nuisance, Failure to cover vehicles carrying waste, construction sand, gavel and other materials, Non clearance of drainages , Vehicles with excessive emissions and Assault on marshals of KASTELEA.
He however, advised the public to comply with the rules.
