In a bold move aimed at strengthening healthcare service delivery, the Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government Area, Hon. Rayyan Hussein, has announced the official launch of a toll-free telephone line for citizens to report issues related to Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across the LGA.
The initiative, which is fully supported by the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, is part of broader reforms to ensure transparency, accountability, and improved healthcare services in the state’s 255 PHCs.

Speaking during the launch on Thursday, Hon. Rayyan stated that the toll-free line will serve as a direct feedback mechanism for residents to lodge complaints, raise concerns, and share their experiences whether positive or negative when accessing health services.
“This platform is not just a complaint channel, it is a tool for transformation, a way to ensure that the health system in Kaduna South truly serves the needs of our people” he emphasized.
He further stressed that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and reiterated his administration’s zero tolerance for negligence, misconduct, or indiscipline in healthcare delivery.
“Let me be clear: we will not tolerate any form of negligence or indiscipline within our healthcare system and with the help of our citizens, we will continue to monitor, improve, and rebuild trust between service providers and the community,” Hon. Rayyan said.
The toll-free line; 08000044433 is expected to bolster citizen engagement, strengthen community oversight, and ultimately improve the responsiveness of health personnel across PHCs in the area.
Residents are encouraged to use the line confidently and responsibly, as all reports will be treated confidentially and followed up with appropriate actions by the authorities.
The Kaduna South chairman called for collective action, saying “Let us continue to work together to build a healthier Kaduna South for today and for generations to come.”
