Kaduna APC Members Denies Plan to Expel Shehu Sani

Some members of the All Progress Congress (APC), accused of collecting 3 million naira bribe from the Special Adviser to Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Uba Sani for the purpose of expelling Senator Representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, from the party has debunked the allegation.

Speaking on Monda at a press briefing, the Secretary of APC Ward 6 , Alhaji Auwal Abdulhamid Garba said the allegation is not only malicious, but unfounded and baseless.

According to him, it is not true that monies and plots of lands were given or shared to either extend suspension period or expel Senator Shehu Sani from the party .

He stressed, ” If there any proof that we collected money , they should provide or we sue them” .

On efforts made to resolve the problem the led to his suspension, The Ward Secretary, ‘’We have made several efforts to reconcile the erring senator with the party, we were even attacked by one of his boys and one Jamilu Mohammed’s confessional statement is already with the police, we have even withdrawn that case in the spirit of peace, up till now he has not made any attempt to see us and reconcile.

He however said , “The Senator has continuously violated party rules and even raised dust over the removal of subsidy and $30 Billion loan of President Mohammed Buhari.

” The Senator has continuously use the media against us but we will continue to explore avenues of peace and justice hence the 11 months suspension elapse tomorrow 29th of November, 2016.”

Other members of the party executives in the meeting were Organizing secretary and Welfare Secretary Alhaji Shamshudeen Mohammed Tanko and Toafiq Mohammed respectively.

Some officials of the APC, led by Chairman of APC Ward 6 , Alhaji Abbas Mohammed Anni at press conference on Sunday had accused Mallam Uba Sani, an aide to Governor Nasir El-Rufai of offering a 3 million naira bribe to some of their fellow executive members to expel Senator Shehu Sani from the party.
