Insecurity: Deploy Efforts To the grassroots- Etsu Nupe

The Chairman, Board of Trustee of the Nigerian Elite Security Organisation (NESO) His Royal Highness Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar the Etsu Nupe has emphasized the need to deployed efforts at the grassroots in fighting the security challenges facing Nigeria.
The royal father who was speaking in Abuja at a Dinner organized by (NESO) in conjunction with SERGE RINKEL of BORDERPOL also said the place of peace and security cannot be relegated to the background in pursuing whatever developmental programmes.
He urged all Nigerians to come together and contribute their quota to the attainment of peace and stability in the country.
“Whatever anybody can do in Nigeria especially for peace and security of this country, it could be encouraged. This organization (NESO) is a grassroots organization with members in all the local government areas of the country as well as every nook and crannies of Nigeria.
Also speaking at the Dinner, the Corps-General of NESO, Comrade Sani Aliyu said terrorism is a global challenge that has threatened world peace and as an organization, NESO is stationed at the grassroots to ensure its curb these challenges.
He called on all Nigerians to be extra vigilance and assist in fighting the security challenge by watching people around them and ensure they act on any suspicious move.
He said his organization is working at the grassroots through advocacy and infiltrating every nooks and crannies to gather intelligence and onward forwarding to the appropriate security organizations.
He said men and officers of the security organization have the capacity to assist the government in ensuring they overcome the security challenges facing the country with the right kind of support from the government and other well meaning individuals.
Dignitaries at the event include former Plateau State Deputy Governor Dame Pauline Tallen, International liaison Officer between NESO and BORDERPOL Alhaji Idrisu Mohammed, BORDERPOL special Adviser on Africa Mr. Serge Rinkel, among others.
