I Am Alive El-Rufai Declares, Says Demolition Continue Soon‎

Contrary to the rumour that Kaduna state‎ Governor, Mallam Nasir El’Rufai may have been dead, because of his absence from official duty in the state for almost ten days. The governor made his first public appearance in Kaduna yesterday declaring he is alive.

Addressing Kaduna state workers who staged a solidarity rally in support of President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti corruption crusade El-Rufai said that those who wished him dead were enemies of the state. 

“You can see me standing before you. I am not dead. The reason why they want me dead was because of the N24Billion I discovered in several accounts in the state. 

“They want me dead but what they don’t know is that even if I am not here today my deputy will continue. They can go ahead with their fetish activities, I don’t care.”

He ‎thank the workers for their support for the President, saying that he is  happy to deliver their message to the President.

“We are messagers of the people,  and will make sure that the letter gets to President Buhari Tomorrow (today).

On his land recovery policy, the Governor said “We want the state to be better, our policy on land recovery is still on. Today I just take a final look at Rimi college to see the situation there before we move in.

El Rufai also promised that Workers in the state will get their salaries before sallah this month. ‎

‎Speaking through the Kaduna state NLC chairman, Comrade Adamu Ango,  the president of NLC Ayuba Waba said President Muhamadu Buhari and Governor Nasir El Rufai are trusted and tested and they declare their total support  for their policies aimed at turning the country and Kaduna state around.     

“We Support the man who is trusted and tested and we declare our support because  we know you are up to the task.

The Rally the workers said was commendation of National day against corruption and good governance, aimed at drawing attention to the endemic corruption  in the country.

According to Comrade Ango there is need to seriously reduce the cost of governance and they are happy with
Steps taken so far by President Buhari and his Vice and Governor El Rufai and his deputy who have all reduced their salaries and allowances by fifty percent.‎
