Gov. Adeleke Appoints Chief of Staff, SSG, Olawale Rasheed as Spokesman

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, Sunday appointed Mr. Kazeem Akinleye as his Chief of Staff. Akinleye is a former local government chairman.

The governor also named Mr. Teslim Igbalaye as Secretary to the State Government (SSG), while Mr. Rashid Olawale was appointed governor’s spokesman.

The new SSG is former local government chairman and also erstwhile chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).

While Olawale, the governor’s spokesman, is journalist and publisher of Sahel Standard online newspaper.

Iwo Group Congratulates Mallam Olawale Rasheed

An Iwo-based political group, the PDP Success Group, rejoices with Mallam Olawale Rasheed on his appointment as the Spokesman of the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

The group which hailed the appointment of Mallam Olawale Rasheed as deserving in a statement issued on Sunday night, thanked Governor Adeleke for the choice of the Iwo-born politician as his mouthpiece.

“We received the announcement of Mallam Olawale Rasheed as the Spokesman of Governor Adeleke with wild excitement,” the statement noted, adding that “Mallam Olawale Rasheed is a distinguished professional in the media space and we share the overwhelming confidence that earned him this new role.”

Congratulating Mallam Olawale Rasheed on the new appointment, the PDP Success Group, says it believes the spokesman’s skills and experience are assuring that “he will do excellently well in this new role and play a constructive role in the Adeleke administration.
