FedPoly Bauchi Commence Award of Degrees

The management of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has officially commence the running of degree programs in affiliation with Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the polytechnic’s Director of University affiliations and linkages, Dr. Dalhatu Sa’idu Abubakar.
He said following series of academic meetings with the management of ATBU, the both parties has agreed to commence the program in this 2019/2020 academic session of the institution.
The courses available for the degree programs for now include Architeture, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, survey and geoinformatics, Quantity and Survey, Building engineering and Electrical/Electronics engineering.
Abubakar expressed the readiness of the polytechnic to commence the program as fast as possible, saying all facilities and equipments suitable for the program has been provided and the management of ATBU are satisfied with that.
The Director noted that only qualified candidates who meets the requirements will be admitted into the Polytechnic and applicants can obtain pin at the Polytechnic ICT centre before processing the application online.
He however explained that the ND/HND programs are still intact without any plans to scrap neither of the two. Stressing that all the candidates selected will be awarded Bachelor in Technology (Btech) certificate.
Prior to this development, the management of the institution had sometimes ago made similar move with ABU Zaria to award degree programs and it was approved for them to award Bachelor in Science (BSC) in Mass Communication, Business Administration, Public administration and Accounting.
