…….Submits Petition Against Shehu Sani at National Secretary’s House

The All Progressives Congress ( APC) Kaduna State Chapter’s excos Thursday got stranded in Abuja when they went to deliver the letter of Senator Shehu Sani’s suspension to the National Secretariat of the party.
A source at the APC National Secretariat told NEWSWEB EXPRESS that the excos were disappointed when they got to the Secretariat and met nobody on ground as the party Secretariat had already closed for the New Year holiday.
The source said the party men from Kaduna looked desperate when they arrived and were worried that they were not told that the office will not be opened for activities.
According to the source, “they are up to sixty that came from Kaduna, after spending about six hours, they finally called the national secretary of the party who told them it will not be possible for him to come to the office but gave them appointment for another day.
“But they called someone suspected to be Uba Sani, the political adviser to governor of Kaduna state, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, who assured them that the governor will contact the secretary.
“Some minutes later, the secretary called back and pleaded with them to bring the petition which is supposed to be an official document to his house.”
The source further said that after they have submitted the petition, an argument broke out from among them about a breach in agreement over the amount of money that was supposed to be given to them.
“I heard them said ‘we agreed one hundred and fifty thousand naira (N150,000) for each person but now he is giving us ten thousand naira (N10,000) each.’ But it is not clear if the said money was given to them by the APC national secretary.”
It could be recalled that APC Chairman of ward 10 in Kaduna South Local Government area, Architect Ado Mohammed Sani, in a press briefing on Wednesday accused the governor of bribing the same excos with five hundred thousand naira (N500,000) to effect the suspension of Comrade. Shehu Sani, Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone.
