Examplary leadership: Group Lauds Zango Kataf LG Boss

A combined group of Men and Youthsin Southern Kaduna, under the auspice of “Concern Citizens”, has commended the interim Management Committee Chairman of Zango Kataf local government, Hon. Ali Wakili for his examplary leadership toward his People.
They told the chairman Wednesday, that “You have showned patriotism in standing and defending the interest of your People during our trying moment when curfew was imposed in the local government.”
The group led by Pastor Isaac Makama, were in his office to pay him a solidarity visit.
According to them,” the event that took place in the last five months which the emir of Jema’a alleged that he was attacked by some Youth at Samaru Kataf which the State government acted promptly on the emir’s report without consulting the Chief security officer of the local government for his security report which led the state government to queried you,” The group said.
They observed that, ” The past Chairmen ever fought gallantly in the area of insecurity like you who is known for truth.
“We monitors government event, the narratives about Zango Kataf local government is alarming which are unjustifiable. We have receives threat of attacks in different forals.
“We have heard on the pages of the newspapers that you’re sacked, if is it through is unfortunate. If government becomes disorderly in her activities its shows something is wrong.
The group disclosed that,” we are here irrespective of party affiliations to show our solidarity for your transparent and examplary leadership you have demonstrated during your tenure, and we are solidly behind you.”
“The role of government, is to ensure lives and properties are protected which you have done.
“The incidences that happened in the last five months in Samaru Kataf if not for your experience and effort we wouldn’t have known the situation now,” the group added.
The group urged government to always weigh things in a round table before you executing them to avoid negative narratives.
Responding, the Interim Management Committee Chairman of the Local government commended the group for their orderly manner which did not turns out to be violent.
Commenting on the sack rumor, The LG boss maintained that, “i have not received any letter disengaging me from office, not even verbal.
“The way and manner I fought to protect government principles and policies is in the same way I fought to protect the people am representing without any form of ridicule.” Ali said.
“Mallam Nasir El-rufai mean well for Kaduna State he want to leave something that will be celebrated, but there are bad eggs around him.
“I have never lobbied for any political position since I joined politics. I stand firm for the truth and justice, that is my principle and anybody who comes around me can testify of that.” He added.
