Embrace change, Osinbajo urges Kogi electorate
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has called on the people of Kogi to embrace change by voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 21 governorship election.
Osinbajo made the call on Wednesday in Lokoja at a rally organised by the party to persuade members and supporters to vote for the APC on Saturday.
He said that it is only APC that have good programmes and quality people to effect the necessary change in the country.
He urged the people to join their counterparts in the North-Central zone by voting for the party’s candidate, Alhaji Abubakar Audu, saying they could not continue to live in isolation.
The Vice President reiterated the resolve of the ruling party to fulfill its electioneering campaign promises to Nigerians and urged the people to turn out massively to cast their votes for the APC.
The National Leader of the party, Senator Bola Tinubu promised that the APC would provide employment opportunities and empower women and youths.
He called on the electorate in Kogi to be vigilant and monitor their votes from the polling units to collation centres.
