El-Rufai resumes demolition exercise in Kaduna
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai yesterday resumed demolition exercise with demolition of some houses around the New Millennium city layout area of the state.
The KASUPDA team which stormed the Dan Bushiya area of the New Millennium city to demolish the houses were seen accompanied by Seven hilux vans of operation Yaki filled with security personnel heavily armed.
Youths around the area gathered while the exercise was going on but watched helplessly.
It would be recalled that El-Rufai commenced the demolition exercise sometimes last year and took a break after a court order restraining him from continuing with the exercise. He continued with demolition of shops around popular printers village and government secondary school, Doka in Kaduna North Local government area of the state and now at the New Millennium city layout area of the state.
It would also be recalled that El-Rufai commenced the exercise last year with demolition of buildings at the Alhudahuda college area in Zaria, Kaduna State.
