Chanchangi, Was a Frontline Northern Industrialist – Gov Sani Bello

Niger state Governor, Alhaji  Abubakar Sani Bello has described late Alhaji Ahmadu Chanchangi  as a frontline northern industrialist who made immense contribution to development of Nigeria.

The Governor, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace expressed sympathy  over the demise Chanchangi  and  commiserated with government and people of both Kaduna and Taraba State over the death.

Governor Sani Bello described the deceased as man of peace whose contributions to the development of the aviation sector in the country remains immeasurable.

He said late Ahmadu Chanchangi lived a fulfilled life having accomplished virtually all his mission in the service of humanity and God Almighty.

The Governor further described the deceased as a religious person whose philanthropic gesture was not only legendary but equally contributed to the advancement of peace and unity that cut across many socio-ethnic divide.

“We have truly missed a man who is so loved by many for his generosity. Indeed, he had not only inspired people, but also challenged the rich people to show commitment towards the cause for the poor”.

Governor Sani Bello prayed Allah to forgive his flaws, grant his soul eternal rest and make Aljannah Firdausi his permanent abode.

The legendary and renowned Alhaji Ahmadu Chanchangi died, Wednesday, while being rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja, after a protracted illness.

The Taraba-born, Kaduna-based businessman was, until his death, the Chairman of Chanchangi Airlines. He is survived by three wives, 33 children and many grandchildren.
