Buhari’s Victory: 20 Died In Zaria As Youths Celebrate

About 20 people were reported dead when youths in Zaria City and Dogarawa in Zaria as well as Sabon Gari Local Governments were celebrating the victory of President-elect, General Muhammed Buhari.
Investigation revealed that 4 girls were killed following a recklessness driving by a driver to bus lost control and rammed into spectators hailing the reckless driver and Motorcycles riders at Karauka in Zaria City.
An eye witness identified as Shehu Sule confirmed that many sustained various degree of injuries and were now receiving treatment at Sidi Dalibi memorial Hospital in Zaria city.
Further investigation revealed that about 5 women were also feared dead at Unguwar juma in Zaria City when a vehicle rammed into a house and smashed house wives. Report had it that 9 people were also killed at Dogarawa as a result of the jubilation.
The source further stated that 2 people were said to have died during the celebration at Tudun Wada in Zaria Local Government area.
A community leader in Samaru, Alhaji Ali Goslow who spoke with newsmen condemned the recklessness driving by drivers during the celebration that led to the loss of lives and left many others with various degrees of injury.
This has raised the numbers of dead people across the country during the celebration to over 50, as scores of death were also recorded in Kano, Plateau, Nasarawa, Niger, and Abuja.
