Sierra Leone Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Maj. Gen. Alfred Nelson (rtd.) has been allegedly kidnapped along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.
Nelson was said to have been abducted on Thursday by unknown persons while going to Kaduna to honour an invitation by the military for a programme that could not be immediately ascertained.
It was learnt that efforts to reach the envoy on his phone since Thursday by the Sierra Leonian Embassy officials have proved abortive.
As at time of this report, the kidnap has not been confirmed by any authority.
