BREAKING NEWS: PDP Cancels Convention, Extends Tenure Of Caretaker Committee
The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended the tenure of the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee by one year.
The decision was reached after police sealed off the venue of the National Convention of the party scheduled to hold today in Port Harcourt.
The Caretaker Committee is to organise a fresh national convention within one year. This is the second time the convention of the party will be postponed.
