Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila (APC Lagos State) has won the speakership of the house of the Nigeria House of Representative, with total votes of 281.
Gbajabiamila defeated his closest rival Hon. Umar Bago (APC Niger State), who scored 76 votes, after an intense campaign.
The total votes cast was 358, one was voided.
