Arewa Online Publishers Condoles Ekiti People, Over 6 Doctors Death

Arewa Oline Publishers’ Forum has described the death of six Ekiti medical doctors as a National tragedy.
In a condolence letter jointly signed by the chairman and secretary of the forum, Mallam Mordecai Ibrahim and Dominic Uzu respectively, sympathised with the Government of Ekiti state and the deceased families.
According to the forum, the six doctors or some of them would have been saved if only our hospitals and the Federal Road Safety Commission were properly equipped.
“It is high time our government live up to their responsibilities. A situation where hospitals are built without medical facilities and doctors is unacceptable.
“We call on the Federal Government to, as a matter of urgency provide the FRSC with First Aids and a doctor to attended to accident victims on high way before rushing them to hospital,” it stated.
It will be recalled that Six Medical Consultants who were on their to the Nigeria Medical Association Delegates Conference in Sokoto crashed and died in Kaduna last week Saturday.
